Multi-Genre Writing Workshop

This workshop has three components. We focus on Crafting Your Words, Workshopping and Building a Supportove Community. 

You will learn essential skills to make your story "pop" and your characters seem like they are  to walk off the page. Find and hone your best one-liners to hook your readers and not let them get away until the very last line. Whether you have an idea for a story but haven't inked a single word yet, you have a piece that isn't quite where you want it to be, or  you want some fine-tuning before you submit to a contest, agent or publisher, this workshop is for you!

You will share your stories and get encouraging and useful feedback on your writing in a supportive community and small group setting. We will check-in with each other, talk about your unique writing process, celebrate wins and elevate each other, all while sipping freshly made tea and nibbling on homemade treats.

This four-week workshop meets weekly for 1.5 hours and is designed for those who want to hone their writing skills and who have desire to write based on their own or imagined experiences, fantasies, knowledge, insights, inspirations, dreams, or family histories. It is for those who are called to create in the form of the written word. 

No matter your background (lifelong journaling, published, unpublished, business writer, creative thinker) you will find a place to create, learn and get support for your writing. Whether you are working on a memoir, fiction, sceenplay, spiritual book, family history, narrative nonfiction story/essay, or just want to explore different genres, this workshop is for you!
