Our Love Stories

Maybe your “story of love” is one you’ve heard your whole life, passed down from your great-grandparents to your grandparents, to your parents, to you. It may have even been told to your children, if you have them. These stories can be biological, societal, cultural, familial, personal – all. They are all mixed together – and that is why no single person has the exact same story. Because they were woven together even before we were born.

Your “story of love” may be chronicled in photo albums, letters, FB posts, Instagram reels…or it may be one single word that was repeated over and over until it became part of your very fiber. Sometimes, these stories don’t feel like love at all. Sometimes the love can’t reach us because it gets stuck in the cracks of unkind words: lazy, stupid, ugly, fat, old…Or sometimes there are no words, just feelings of unworthiness or a sense of being small or too much, different, or like there is nowhere that you truly belong.

This workshop is an introduction of how to re-wire your brain by re-writing your love story using three specific tools I developed to tap into your love narrative, release the stories that don't serve you and to create a new story for yourself and future even generations. We will do this together, using excerpts from Chapter 21 from the Ancestor's Within book. Writing, releasing and sharing in community is one of the most powerful ways we can transform - fully seen and supported.
