Who is this challenge for? Everyone is welcome! Feel free to share this email with friends and family.
This is a fun way to generate pages for a current project you are working on, to jump start a stalled project, or to start a new one.
This is also a way to simply practice present in your daily life, using your pen or keyboard as an instrument that centers you in the
moment.
When does it start? Saturday, October 14th
I will be writing at 9-9:15am every morning – you can chose to write “with” me or at another time. I recommend the morning if
possible, as it sets you up for the day.
After doing this practice, I feel calmer, more centered and available for myself and my day. I also feel a deep sense of satisfaction and
it’s great to start my day like that!
We start on the New Moon
How long? 5 days – 15 minutes per day
The idea is to get out of your head and into the moment by setting aside 15 minutes a day for five consecutive days.
During this time you will be creating a practice that you can continue even after the challenge.
Where? In your home.
Each morning you will get an email at 5am “prompting” you to write.
Why? To practice presence and generate five pages of writing
What: a 250 word a day challenge. Five days, five pages, five chances to practice presence.
Through our writing, we will be practicing presence, like I wrote about in my BLOG, “Be like (cold) honey, sweet and slow. Savor the moments you enjoy most. Be present with them, and yourself.”
